a tin can stove that lasts

I’ve noticed posts regarding pop can stoves and I thought I’d post instructions for a similar contraption I made in cub scouts about 10 years ago and it's still going strong. you need 2 large cans, one small enough to fit into the other. we used ketchup cans for the stove body and coffee cans for the pot. a tuna or catfood can some fiberglass insulation and a few coat hangers. take the large can and using a triangular can opener punch 4 holes in the base of the can. cut 3 6 inch lengths of the coat hanger and bend one end 90 degrees. about 2/3's of the way up the side of the can punch 6 holes that will create a star pattern for the smaller can to sit on. punch 2 holes acroos from each other in the top of each can and bend a piece of coat hanger into a handle. to use place the tuna can with a piece of alcohol soaked insulation in the bottom. heats up real fast and the only thing i've had to replace was the insulation in the bottom
