the rifle showed up today.
i sent a receiver i got from BBF to factory and ordered up a 223 barrel, a reblue-ing, iron sights and nice new synthetic stock and fore-arm !
waiting is fun, but geting is even better !!!
the reblue-ing job is good, teh entire receiver is clean, smooth and the blueing is deep and rich.
my only complaint is that there were tool marks under the scope rail, the barrel was evidently drilled and tapped after the blue-ing. a 1/8" trail of bare metal extends from the third screw hole to the breach, not a show stopper but i want a clean looking job so it's going back tomorrow.
