I have a bar safari II with the boss. I am amazed at it's accuracy 3/4" groups are routine at 100yds. It is totally reliable with all bullet shapes I have tried. Even shoots ballistic tips! With the boss it is best to find a bullet weight you like and stay with it because it takes a bit of scope change and boss change when you switch bullet weights or brands, but it will get the accuracy with any bullet type. With the combination of boss, gas action and recoil pad the recoil is very light. I was not aware that a skiny barreled semi auto could get that kind of accuracy. (I know an AR15 will get that or better). The remington 7400 30-06 I used to have did not get groups anywhere near that (more like 2" or more) Also the remington 7400 would jam occasionally. I guess the only drawback to the Bar is that it is a tad heavy. (I see in shooting times they are coming out with a light weight model)
