Has anybody here read the first book by communist sympathizer John Forbes Kerry?

FreeKerryBook.com seems to be down, probably shut down for violation of JFK's copyright, but you can download a PDF of the book's text here:

Save it to disk, and give it to every voter you know.

If George Bush or Dick Cheney had been responsible for a piece like this, is there any doubt that it would be featured on the front page of the New York Times?

I read, in the paper, that Kerry refused permission for the publisher to re-print HIS book.

Of course Skerry doesn't want the book in print again. He's fortunate that few copies were sold, and virtually all pitched in the trash years ago. That book was designed to get him name recognition for Massachusetts elections in the early 1970s. Once he was securely in office, he focused on his ultimate goal, which requires acceptance among a national audience.

Why do you think he's never standing alongside Kennedy, Feinstein, Boxer & Schumer at the gun-grabber press conferences? He votes exactly in step with the commies, but never proposes legislation or speaks out in favor of them.

He knows darn well that if everybody saw that book, he's win electoral votes in CA, MA, MD, and DC, and probably nowhere else. (edit:I forgot the People's republic of Hawaii, he's a shoe-in there too, even if he was found cavorting naked in Saigon with Jane Fonda they'd vote for him)

Does his book mention about how he betrayed his fellow soldiers and his country?  Does it mention how he complied with the commies to record condemning phrases and slogans aimed at fellow POWs in the torture chambers?  Does it also mention how he discarded his medals, while even now he flaunts and brags about how he "won" them through courage, valor, and duty?  There have been reports by the field surgeons recently who examined his wounds sustained in battle.  One of his wounds was, and you'll be surprised at this, was sustained by his own stupidity.  As he was attempting to destroy a rice cache, he threw a grenade into the heap of bags containing rice.  Of course with Kerry, the grenade did NOT detonate.  Meantime, he went to see why it did not go off. Or maybe to see if he forgot to pull the pin; after all, he may have decided not to pull it after he wanted to pull it (pun intended.) He turned around to go fire off another one; as he was returning to cover for a second try, the first grenade he threw DID detonate at that moment, sending rice "shrapnel" into his backside, peppering it (or "ricing" it) to kingdom come.  This ACTUALLY happened, as stated by the field surgeon.  That is one of his "nobly" won purple hearts.  The second was inflicted by his own equipment. As he was, I believe if I recall correctly, in a hot area.  During the confusion, he happened to scratch himself, probably on an attachment on his gun, or fingernail, or something.  Perhaps he went psycotic at that moment and took it for shrapnel.  That required the simple "band-aid."  The third I have not heard much about, but the really funny but true incident that was first described I heard on the radio, so I don't have a source to send you to.  So there you have it.  I doubt those incidents are mentioned in that book.  Keep this forum index alive, ya'll. :D   Patriot

P.S.  Please don't make any "semi" vulgar statements about the "First" purple heart.  Keep this place clean.

I have to believe all of this hoopla about books and purple hearts is just a smoke screen to keep us from looking at his congressional voting record.

He has voted NO on every military equipment acquisition bill since 1988 and YES on every gun control bill.   He has always voted on the UN side of every issue involving them too.

Imagine if Kerry baby were president during those crucial times.  We would not have the technological edge we have now on the battlfield.  And this country would probably have been evenly divided between the U.N., Russia, and THEN ourselves, leaving Americans very little to be sure.  Patriot
