How many variations, catalogued or not, have been produced?

.44 magnum hunter  - cataloged
.44 magnum bisley hunter - cataloged
.41 magnum hunter - distributor exclusive (Davidson's)
.41 magnum Bisley hunter - distributor exclusive (Davidson's)
.45lc hunter - distributor exclusive (Lipsey's)
.17 HMR hunter - cataloged
.22lr/.22 WRM hunter - cataloged

I wouldn't be surprised to see the .17 hunter be a convertable in '05.  At one time it was rumored that a very few .45lc Bisley hunters were to be made for Lipsey's as well but I never heard anything else about it nor did I ever hear of any actually being shipped.
Got the .45lc hunter currently and will likely have a .22 hunter in the near future.  Tempted by the .41 models but no real need for them.

Also, some consider some of the Redhawk models as "hunter" versions because they have integral scope mounts and ae supplied with rings.  They're not however cataloged as "hunter" modles by Ruger.

Thank you.  You wouldn't happen to know the ser. # range of the "original"  hunters.

I wish Ruger would offer a 357 mag version. Even if it were one of those limited special runs for Lipsey's or any other of their major distributors.
