Does anyone have an updated date of availability of the new Handi?  

I tried to purchase a RUGER #1, but the wood was just poor! Not worth $650.00    :noway:

The last I heard was later this fall from Mark A.... I sent H&R an email asking them when it would be available, they told me the same thing and that it would also be available in the accessory barrel program later this fall.

It ain't fall!  I am so VERY SMART!  No 204 yet!

I called my gun dealer and told him to get me both a .204 Ruger and a 22-250 handi back in Jan when I saw the new 2004 catalog. wasn't long before I found out that we were being teased bigtime.   I made this post not long afterward. -------------------------------------------------------------------

I called Nef on Feb 9th to ask about 22-250 and 204 ruger availability. I was told the 22-250 rifle would be out this spring and the barrels will be availableby summer.The 204 rifles might be out by fall and no answer on the barrels. Why do I feel like the catalog I have is just a big tease?

emailed H&R yesterday and got reply today, at least TWO, 2, more weeks and most likely longer until there is a 204 Ruger barrel!  I am brilliant!
