hey hendog i just love the 375 JDJ especially with the hornaday 220 fp very manageable recoil with magnaport in my 12'' contender , sorry can;t help you with the carbine , the 270 gr. makes the recoil very noticable .Very accurate, it shoots just as good as my 6.5 JDJ or better, and is just deadly on deer with the 220 gr. for deer size game and good on elk with the 270gr.
