Californians, 1 down 2 to go - DAMN
« on: September 14, 2004, 06:44:04 AM »
Yesterday, Gov Schwarzenegger signed a bill banning the sale or transfer of .50 centerfire rifles (BMG) in California and declaring these "weapons" ASSAULT RIFLES (CA Still has a strict assault weapons ban in place).

Please see my other post (Up for CA Gov signature).  There are two more bills on his desk.  ALL California Gun Owners need to e-mail or fax the Governator NOW!!!

I guess that his tie to the Kennedys is showing.  Now we've got a REPUBLICAN Governor who is against guns.

This statement amazes me every time I hear someone say it.

The pro-2nd Amendment citizens of Kalifornia been suckered by that (R) behind this RINO's name.

Schartzenkennedy is no friend to gun owners, never has been, and is proud to admit it.

I know it's difficult to understand him when he speaks, but he's said as much in public so any times, I'd think that someone would have caught on by now.
They may talk of a "New Order" in the  world, but what they have in mind is only a revival of the oldest and worst tyranny.   No liberty, no religion, no hope.   It is an unholy alliance of power and pelf to dominate and to enslave the human race.

Same as New York. REPUBLICAN Gov. Pataki is no friend to the gun owner. People have to wake up and realize that just because someone is on the Republican ticket, it doesn't mean the are pro 2nd amendment. Just as not all Democrats are anti 2nd amendment. Dean and Lieberman come to mind of two Dems. that are more pro gun than against. We as voters need to look at each individual politician and his track record to see if he is a friend of the gun owner. As party lines are getting fuzzier every day on this issue.>John

so do you guys actually believe that the alternative in NY or Cal would have been MORE gun friendly?  Of course the answer is no.  It's like voting for Pat Buchanon in Florida because you're afraid bush isn't Pro-Life enough.  The reality of the situation is that you're actually helping someone who's WORSE than the guy you could have supported.

what we have is people voting emotionally ,not rationally or logically and they are mostly women and that is fact not anti feminism.

9/16/04 AM.  The Gov has not acted on the last two bills as yet.  Remember, if not acted upon, they default into law.  Keep them cards and letters coming.

Use www.nramemberscouncils.com for an easy way to fax and send e-mail.

That is B.S. x10!  I can't believe that will happen if nothing is decided!  If it is not acted upon, it should immediately be retracted from the list.  What do they think constitutes the idea of: IF he signs it yes, it is law; If he signs it no, it won't pass; IF he does not act upon it period, it still becomes law by default?! That is a pile of crap if you ask me!    Patriot
