Artax muzzle loaders

I've found a really neat .45 caliber underhammer target rifle made by Artax.  Anyone know anything about Artax or their guns?  Thanks in advance.  Charles

I've only seen pictures of them, they look really nice, good quality.
Here's a site that deals with long range rifles, beleave I saw a few comments about them here.

Sekiar-The artax site is under construction, but the photo shows a reproduction of a Billinghurst Underhammer and it looks beautiful
which is saying a lot for an Underhammer because most of them (mine in particular) are ugly as all get out.
    Underhammer designs are so simple by thier very nature that they
are extremely reliable.

The site has been under construction for quite a while now. Artax are an Italian company, and I believe at least one of the owners is a former international shooter.

Artax exhibited at the World Championships in Lucca, Italy, last year. Their rifles appeared of excellent quality. I have been told that several of the French national team use their rifles.

My wife recently imported one of their Swiss style offhand rifles, which all being well she will be shooting for the first time this coming weekend.

Thanks for all of the input!!  I took the plunge and am purchasing an Artax underhammer .45 caliber rifle from the Track of the Wolf.  A photo is on their www marked hold.  After many years without one of my H&A lefties I'll be back in business with a most beautiful gun.  Will report in with its performance.  Thanks everyone!!
