Bear hunting guides in U.P. of Michigan

My buddy and I are on our 5th year of putting in for preference points for the fall bear season in Michigan.  Anybody know a reputable guide service to contact up there for a bear hunt?

I have several relatives up in the UP of Michigan.
From what they have told me, all you have to do to get a black bear is get hunting access to one of the town dumps, that each small town in the UP seems to have. From what one relative has told me, the bears congregate there most of the time !
