Yep, CBS pulled their same dan blather schmidt on this one.  I just love it when he is so dang sure of himself and then the entire station has to apologize because of the inaccuracy of the 'reliable information' they received.

Well, even though Ahnuld banned 50 caliber somethings in kalifornika, kerry looks like he is on the downhill slide.  Thank you Lord.  Mikey.

I hope someone there gives up and 'comes clean".
Some folks in the know, believe that CBS's "reliable sources" are the Kerry campaign staff.
We know of course, that old Dan Blather will hide behind the first amendment and decline to name his "reliable sources".
In this case however, if the documents prove to have been forged...lying sources should be disclosed, in order for CBS to retain any sort of integrity and to bring to justice anyone that would try to upset an American election by way of forged documents.

Bogus National Guard "documents" traced to an Abilene ,Texas  KINKOS.

   It's on <www.worldnetdaily.com/>   today, 9/16/04

Bet someone's hot on the trail of some of the Kerry/ Clinton friends...No ?

Update: Drudge has a Washington Post story posted that pretty well traces it to one individual that some "news" media have used....don't know why they used him; he has been proven a liar.

I stopped watching the "big 3" newscasts well over a decade ago.  The only thing that surprises me is that Rather, Brokow, or Jennings weren't caught pulling something like this in a previous presidential election.  These guys are pretty close to being dinosaurs.  The ratings for these newscasts are, I'm told, about 1/3rd of what they were 20 years ago.
