Like anything else in life, you get what you pay for.
If, and that's a BIG IF, Remington comes out with a rifle having an action that does not need accurizing, that incorporates their old, fully-adjustable  40X trigger, a free-floating superior barrel and a good glass bedding, while keeping it competitive with the cost of a Sako model 75, I just might buy one - provided it is also available in .260 Rem. caliber :cb2:

  I agree. The 260 Remington is the best caliber that nobody ever heard of. I had a Savage Striker in that caliber and it was great. Or get a CZ-550 in caliber 6.5x55 (nearly identical to the 260 Rem). I think they have a set trigger and will be 1/3 the price of the new Remington.

I have my eyes on the 40-XBBR KS in 7mm Remington Magnum but for the same price I can get a Dakota Arms Model 97  :?
