--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

we had a meeting at the gun club tonight so I took a couple Contenders. Got there early so I had time to shoot. One of the other members had thought about putting a scope on his revolver,but... After he shot my 6.5 and 358 jdj's, he tried my 45-70.All scoped, and he shot a 1" group at 50 yards with the 45-70! The other 2 guns shot smaller groups(3 shots). He said I just cost him a bunch of $.Now he needs a scope for his 44Ruger AND a Contender!BUT NOT A 45-70.
dontcha luv that look when they put 3 shots in 1 ragged hole?

Yes,maybe they should have a warning label! He called asking about a 7-30 t/c. He wanted to know if it was comparable to my 6.5jdj.Also what brand scope did I reccommend.  $$$$$
He is the 3rd person I know I influenced to buy a T/C! There may have been others, but these 3 are definites.
