Hey guys,

If there are any Virginia residents out there i could use some advice.

I recently moved from PA to VA. Before I bring my firearms down I would like to know what the registartion requirements (if any) are for Hndguns and semiauto rifles as I own 3.

If anybody knows could you please reply.

Rummer,
There is NO state-wide registration on any such guns. Also, I believe that some local/ city restrictions have recently been nullified by a State preemption law. Welcome!

Thanks for the info Shorty.

If I would have had to declare what firearms I owned or paid a personal property tax on them, they would have stayed in Pennsylvania.

Now I need to find the nearest ranges to the Newport News area.
