I haven't shot the old Encore 209X50 since killing an 8-point last year on the first day of ML season. I was happy to see that the very first round out of the gun hit dead center, and I mean DEAD center, on my target at 75 yards. The next round was 1/2 inch below that and the third was a little bit lower and to the right. Overall about a 1" group. I think I'll just leave her alone - don't want to mess up a good thing.
I also shot my .223 barrel to get it on the paper. After firing about 15 rounds I ended up with about a 1" group at 100 yards. I need to do a little fine tuning to get it just where I want it but that will have to wait.
