Buffalo Price gap H&R to Replicas

I want a long barrel 45-70, realistically on a HR budget, but like the replicas.  Gun will be a toy, informal targets with handloaded smokeless only.  Are there any realistic options between the HR buf classic and the miriad replicas at 1000 and up, not interested in the lever action guide guns.

What companies make/supply the replicas.  I am familiar with Navy Arms, Tristar, EMF, Shiloh.  Fill in some others please.

Take a look at Taylor and Co. They have some Win Hi Wall replicas that sell for well under $1,000, and they're pretty nice.
Ballard, the great American Rifles!
