I've found a Whitworth Mauser in .375 H&H and it is in good shape.The guy said he would take $350.00 for it. Are Whitworths good rifles and is that a good price?Any info would be appreciated.

The Whitworth Express rifle is listed in Fjestads blue book under Interarms
The price they give for 100% is $600.00 to 60% at $ 350. The 375H&H was discontenued in 1993. Hope this helps. Good luck........Joe..........

I've owned a Whitworth Alaskan .375 H&H Magnum for about 15 years.
The rifle has never let me down when the going got rough. I have taken several moose, bears and deer at ranges from 50 feet to about 400 yards. 72 grains of IMR 4064 behind a 270 grain Hornady is my favorite load for game.
