possible scope change

I'm getting ready to send my 6.5-20 EFR back to Leupold to have the adj. obj. repaired for the second time. The first time the knurled ring and the ring with the yardage markings where separated from each other(one was spinning). Now it has what appears to be an o-ring coming out between the two and has what seems to be alot of backlash. Very inconsistent. If they won't replace it, I may sell it once repaired.

I think I would like a fixed 24X. I would like to find a Weaver T-24 with 1/2" dot, and 1/4" moa adj., but all I see out there is with the 1/8"moa adj. Opinions please.

The other is....gulp, Leupold's fixed 24X. Are these the BR models people are using and are they having the reticles changed? aren't these 1/8" moa adj. too? opinions?

thanks, Bill

Bill,

Mark Pharr, a well know silhouette shooter and gunsmith sells the new Weaver T24's.  They have 1/4 MOA clicks and 1/2 MOA dots if my memory serves me well.  His email address is:

ttumbleweeds@yahoo.com

He said the T24's are going quick so if interested you should jump on it without delay.
All the best,

Dan Theodore

DanDeMan

Got my T24 today from Mark Pharr. It is in fact 1/4 moa clicks with 1/2" dot and I love it! It's really neat seeing the markings on the adjustable objective for SB rifle (40,60,77,and 100m's). Hopefully there accurate. Can you, or someone,  tell me what the locking ring is behind the adj. obj.?

Thanks for the help and info.,

Bill
