Hey Guys:

I'll be sitting in the Moderators chair for a while here...and just thought I would say Hello to everyone here...

I've been a Tradiionist for many years...and got out of using all the wheels and pullies...peeps and sites...after several big time failures of the equipment...as most of you already know...Mr.Murphy...has a penchant for us archers and raises his ugly head anytime he gets a chance too

I own a few recurves...my favorite is a custom  Sky Archery...built by Pappa Earl  Hoyt with matched limbs...and a very old  Herters 63" match hunter and an older Hoyt takedown....

My Longbows consist fo a real sweet  60lb Scorpion longbow...with a scrimshawed mastadon ivory inlay by Tom High...and mastadon ivory tips...and a old flat long bow I built back in the early 70's...

So I hope to fit in with you all..between my 2 passions...shooting my NEF Handi's...and pulling the string on my archery gear...

Mac
You can cry me a river... but...build me a bridge and then get over it...

Im a new stick and string shooter myself, learning everything from experenced archers in my area.
I just bought a custom bighorn 75# and ive gotten real good with it. It has a silver ram inlay and rams horn tips a real beauty. I pick it up a local archery shop on consignment for 400 bucks, then i found out what it was.  I was really impressed with it.
wel thats just a little about me, drop me line anytime.

Thanks Tim 8)
