« on: September 25, 2004, 06:25:03 PM »
I am looking at getting a 44 mag barrel for my ultra rifle and was wondering if these barrels can handle the buffalo bore and garrett ammo?

That's a good question.  I know the 45-70 Handi can handle the Buffalo-Bore ammo.  I don't know about the .44mag.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

300Win;

I would think that the Handi's would handle the Buffalo Bore Ammo, in 44mag. due to it being a relatively low pressure round comparied to the 25-06, 30-06, and 280 Rem that have a pressure of about 50,000 psi +. Plus it being a handgun caliber, I see no reason for them not to be safe.
But that's my 2cents, I could be wrong.
