Other than the format of the picture on the screen did anyone see anything different from the first two showings?  The Mrs. and I didn't but then we forget where we put our teeth now and then.

If there was a differance ,and i'm sure there was, i really didnt see it. And i know this has been beaten to death, but i like the Lee Marvin and Jack Palance version better.   Not a slam on Tom and his crew    but i liked to other better is all.

There was some more conversation in the directors cut that helped me understand one thing better but I can't remember excactly what it was. sorry.

Director's cut was shown  on Sunday evening.  The format was wide screen--strips of black at both top and bottom--really wasn't a problem watching it.  Other than that I didn't see any glaring differences.  Still a first rate show--wife even watched it two times with me.
