Stoney Point Bore Guides????
« on: November 13, 2004, 07:46:23 AM »
I need a bore guide for a Savage Mark II 17 Mach II and am thinking about the stoney point bore guide. If you have used these how would you rate them? In the past I have gotten guides from sinclair. They are nice buy can be used for that gun only. The stoney can be used with most guns since it has interchangeable chamber tips. Sounds like a good idea.

What say you.

Thanks

Mike

Bore Guides

I have a Stoney Point bore guide for 25-30 cal. bolt actions. I bought this one right before they came out with the one with interchangable chamber tips.  S.P. guides will adjust to fit any action size and have a window to put bore cleaner w/o the worry of it getting on your stock. Like I said ,I have the older model that I bought several years ago and I have never thought of replacing it. Top quality all the way! For the use I've gotten out of mine, the $21 I spent was well worth it. The newer model is the same well thought out design with interchangable chamber tips(even better). I recommend them highly.
