I'm looking to purchase a 112BVSS in 25-06 with the new Accutrigger. Does any one have any experience with this gun? I love my Savage .308 with it's bull barrel and hope the 112 is as good a shooter. My H&R Ultrahunter strings 'em at the range so I'm wanting to upgrade to the Savage bad. Thanks in adavnce for any comments.

I don't own one, but I know a couple of people who own the exact model you are talking about (although in .223 and .22-250 cartridges).

In any event, they tell me that they are real tackdrivers and very good values.  In addition, I have heard comments from various posts over the years that seem to confirm that model's merits.
