Often as a bow hunter we can't get a tree in just the right place to hunt those active scrapes. So why not move the scrape?
Carry a ziplock and a small plastic trowel when scouting. If you find an active scrape that is not huntable because of location, scoop up as much of the soil that you can and take it with you.
Use a stick to clean out a new scrape site where you want it and deposit the soil there. Any bucks in the area will think a new bad boy is in town and surely investigate.
