My bear should be gettin done soon from the taxidermist. As this is the first critter I've had mounted (other than a coyote rug), I was wondering if its customay to tip the taxidermist-provided I like his work. Or do you just give them what they charge? I don't want to offend anyone, but I work awful hard for my money too. I've never minded tipping guide, cooks ect if they earn it, just wondering if taxidermists get tips also. Thanks for your help :grin:

He set his price and will feel free to up it whenever he wants. Pay what he charges.

Generally the cooks, waiters, and the various type of employes working to searve you dont set the prices you are being charged, so GB is correct a big fat NO, however if he did a great job on you mount be proud of it and tell everyone you know who did the work.

A difference between the taxidermist and your camp cook or guide is that the taxidermist is the owner/operator of a business. The cook or guide work for wages, and probably relatively low wages at that.
