Making snares has gotten to be a real interesting time.Seems like every state needs something different than the next
What are your states regulations???

MI is:

BAD not to exceed 350lbs and a deer stop.

:grin: Snares are legal in PA. The legal ones are available at the Snare Shop catalog

we can use them here, except on public/commission controlled grounds during upland bird seasons. no minimum break away or deer stops required, but we do have to tag them with a personal id number.
snares have been a very innexpensive and effective alternative trap for me in a couple of high traffic/potential theft areas.

can only use them on private land here
no BAD's or stops needed but i hear the game dept. thinking on one or both soon, hope we can change thier minds
