oops! my cat must have walked across the keyboard on the way to the top of the CPU tower. anyways, my local sporting goods store has started selling 91/30's and M44's that i think are from century arms. they have electro-stenciling on the reciever and have been refininshed and give a hot blue dip.comes with ammo pouches, take down tool, sling, bayonet and cleaning kit for $149. how are these for shooters? i need a second rife for deer hunting this year. accuracy isn't to important, i'd be happy if it can group 6 inches. i've saved a hundred off last weeks check and i'll probably get one and a 100 rounds of ammo next payday.

I think that is a good bit high. You can get a nice 91/30 or M44 from Aztec,Century,AIM WG&A and several other distributors for about $60.These are good shape guns.
The more I listen,the more I hear....and vice versa.

Kevin.303,
I noticed you are in Canada, so is that Canadian dollars? If so that may be a good deal. Due to the importing laws our countries have I am skeptical that you could purchase a gun in the USA and ship it to Canada W/O a lot of hassle (red tape) and heavy tarriff.

yep a dealer right here in town has them. prices will never be as low as they are down south, but at least we no longer have the $25 transfer fee.
