It`s a great little round. Not as fast as the .17 Rem., but you use less powder and it will do almost the same thing. The only other thing, if your useing it on nothing larger than fox, you might want to look into the .17 AI. That has been my main groundhog gun for the last couple of years. I push a 19 grn. Calhoon bullet to 3,600 fps. with 10.4 grns. of H-4227 and she shoot point blank to about 290 yrds. It has pleanty for fox too.
