Leupold Help!
« on: September 30, 2004, 01:15:55 PM »
Guys, does anyone know the Leupold part number for the ring/base package they have for an Encore?? Can't find it anywhere. I know there is one because I had it on a scrap of paper that I can't find now.

Thanks

This may not help at all, but have you tried contacting Leupold for the number?
If I can make it go bang it can't be that hard to do.

Midsouth Shooters Supply has an accesory search function at: http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/gunfit.asp?dept=%46%69%74%20%43%68%61%72%74%73 that will help you find a base that fits.

Rings depend on the scope you plan to use (ring diameter and height).  Most of my pistol scopes are mounted on low or medium 1 inch rings, but one took high 30 MM rings.

It is useful to go to the maker's website to learn about their products.       Leupold has a search function on their site called a "mount selector".  Go there to answer your question:

I did contact Leupold, they don't supply them in "packages" anymore. You have to buy the items seperately. They also supplied the part#'s for Encore and Contender. They were very helpful.
Thanks for your help everyone.
