I'm trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head so I'll know how to vote come November. Right now, we have one guy saying one thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who do we believe? Lemme see; have I got this straight?

Every year an independent tax watchdog group analyzes the average tax burden on Americans, and then calculates the "Tax Freedom Day". This is the day after which the money you earn goes to you, not the government. This year, tax freedom day was April 11th. That's the earliest it has been since 1991. Its
latest day ever was May 2nd, which occurred in 2000. Notice anything special
about those dates?

Recently, John Kerry gave a speech in which he claimed Americans are
actually paying more taxes under Bush, despite the tax cuts. He gave no explanation and provided no data for this claim.

Another interesting fact: Both George Bush and John Kerry are wealthy men.
Bush owns only one home, his ranch in Texas. Kerry owns 4 mansions, all worth several million dollars. (His ski resort home in Idaho is an old barn brought over from Europe in pieces. Not your average A-frame).

Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does that sound right? The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously has figured out a way to avoid paying his own.

The news was discussing the dumcraps claim about haliburton getting a no bid contract, and it was true. Nobody else bid the darned jobs, nobody else wanted them.  :D  :D  :D  :D POWDERMAN.  :?  :?  :?  :?  :?  :?

All the politicians and the news people know darned well that the president and the vice-president have nothing to do with awarding government contracts (bid or no-bid).

 A totally independent agency handles contracting and procurement and the last time I heard, a Democrat was at the head of that agency.  They pride themselves on not being politically influenced.  If contracts are military related, the DOD does have input, but only too assure that contractors have the ability to accomplish the job.

Intrepid,

I love that list of good/bad that you posted.   It shows how the dumbo craps can and do spin things.

But I finally figured out that the dumbocraps are playing with the same coin that the Communists use.   It is a “Heads I win, Tales you loose” coin.   How can we all fall for the “we are for the little guy” BS when most of the really big money is made by people that are in the dumbocrap party.   Guys like Bill Gates for one, he is one of the richest guys in the whole country if not the world and he sure didnÂ’t make all that money by taking care of the “little guy”.

The Communists all share in the same level of life unless you are part of the group leading the party.   And that is how the dumbocraps are too.   They will lead you to the same “all share alike” while they tax your money away from you until you are all alike.   ItÂ’s called being poor.  

I found it interesting that Kerry has more money then Bush but paid only about one third as much.   I think it is time the IRS sharpened their pencils and checked into that.

Yes, it really makes me wonder if they really even know what is going on or are they just doing what their husbands or boyfriends tell them to do.

Because Bush has set millions of women free while Kerry just flaps his jaws, my wife has started calling Kerry a stupid, scum sucking pig.   And further, she says the liberal women for womenÂ’s rights are just a bunch of whining idiots that donÂ’t really have any idea how most women around the world have to live or what they have to put up with.
