I guess I never got around to introducing myself either...
I live in the Columbia River Gorge between Mt.Hood and Mt Adams. Beautiful country, lots of great hunting and fishing, also the windsurfing capitol of the USA. I have seen this river with 20 foot swells on a big day, but normally just 2-4 ft waves. I like to hunt and sail, also really like to fool around out in my re-loading shop. Here's a pic of me out on the river, I know it isn't hunting related....but it IS certainly and Outdoor Sport. Lots of fun.
