Here is what those in the Los Angeles Department of Transportation and other city officials have thought to be "fair and constitutional" :evil:  What do you SUV drivers, and other non-hybrid drivers (Californians especially) think?   But the city officials think its OK to remove the cross from the LA seal though... Having THAT on the seal would be UNconstitutional.  What in (nether world) will officials in California state think of next?!!!  I won't even try to imagine...   Patriot

So, in the name of conservation, they will reward me if I get rid of my 35mpg compact and buy a 25mpg hybrid SUV. Just another bit of gov't stupidity.
The US government is doing the same thing with tax deductions for purchase of hybrid and electric vehicles. GM is going to respond by making "barely hybrid" SUVs which don't really get  much better mileage, but meet the federal requirement for a tax break.

This is one more example of how the left-wing politians oppress the very people they say they represent.  How many of the poor down-trodden can afford a hybrid vehicle anyway?  I thought only the "rich" and well-off have the resources to buy new...and hybrids command even more up front.   :?  Why would the pinko elitist and tree-huggers want to "disenfranchise" the poor who cannot afford hybids...free-meters will only benefit the rich...right?   :lol:

wow, my state gets worse every day.  

About the hybrid's its true they cost more so how the hell can the "oppressed" people afford to buy them?  

Sometimes it really makes you wonder if they (democrats/socialists) oppress their constituents purposely so they can keep selling them the "im here for the poor" bs.  What happened if the poor and minorities rose up and pulled themselves up on the socioeconoic ladder?  Who would vote democrat then.


Arg its 8:51am  and I've got 3.5 more days of work till opening of duck season.

Early teal or regular duck season?  I went out for early teal here a few weeks back (didn't kill a thing), but I've got to wait until Thanksgiving for full duck season :(.
