JH45gun, When the Rom trainers came out, my dad, brother, and I each got one. Shortly after I picked up a second one for myself at a yard sale. I'm 4 for 4 for bad shooters. Shot bulk bullets from Winchester, Remington, and Federal, shot CCI mags, and Federal match. 5-inch groups at 50 yards (best group with Winchester Wildcats!) is not what I'd call accurate on any gun. Scopes and mounts were good quality and anchored tight. Guns were shot from a bag rest. Heavy burrs on the crown and uneven rifling do not lend themselves to accuracy, but do lend themselves to inexpensive, mass-produced military trainers.
