Waitin on my Point Blanc
« on: September 28, 2004, 02:51:38 AM »
Target crossbow should be here by the week end! I am going to get in to some indoor shooting with it, and maybe some true competition with it this coming year.

That completes my collection of Excalibur cross bows :-D , Relayer, Wolverine, Vixen Exocet, Exomag and Exomax. This is only there Recurve xbow as they do have one made by bear called a Paradox compound xbow, maybe get that one next year. The droped the Paradox this year so I will be looking for a used one, in less I can find a dealer with a new one still in stock you never know :)

Gary, is the point blanc still a carved limb tip or did they finally up grade them to mag tips? Don't know if you talked to bj but I know he had the last Paradox they made cause I bought the second last one from him. He said he was going to keep it but you can probably talk him out of it.

Digger they are still carved tips, I have to study it more and see if this set of limb boosters I got from bj will fit it :)

I just set the brace height to 1 1/2" no marks on the rail and the instruction book is the same as all the Excal's. One would think a different set of instructions would be with the Point Blanc as it do go together a little different.

I am going to scope it for now just can't get use to them peep and pin sights

I will check with bj on the Excal with wheels, however Digger I am running out of stuff and the Holidays are almost upon us :-D

Gary, you can talk to him about saving the Dox for you. Or I may sell you mine if I tire of it.
You can also use the PB limbs on all your other Excals, except Relayer and Wolverine unless you have riser tha will fit, it lowers the poundage on them by 30-35 %.When I had 5 Excals around the house, I made up a prod with the lite limbs and had 12 bows in total.

Yep read that...I got a set of light limbs came with my Exocet last November..I am going too play around with the different combo's just for the fun of it all.

That PB would make a nice starter xbow for a young one at the short draw length and 90lbs draw weight.

Don't get tired of that Dox untill next year....uhhh say about 4 months :-D
