Western Rivers Caller
« on: October 05, 2004, 06:39:25 AM »
Has anyone used or does anyone own the Western Rivers Predation MP3 game caller?  If so, how does it work.  Is the sound quality good, do the batteries last long enough?  Any troubles with the remote control??  Do you find that there enough sounds for enough variety??  Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

a friend of mine bought one last year. a little pricey but a good unit. the remote failed soon after he got it. he sent it back and they promptly replaced it. (no problems since) the unit is not quite as loud as i would like, but, on a calm day or night it seems to be fine. the battery seems to last a long time. a lot of calling on a charge. it comes with a base package of calls which can be altered with your computer. the sound clarity is very good depending on the quality of your sound file.. it is very compact and lightweight. about the size and weight of a 6 volt flashlight...i myself am considering "the bushwacker"  a similar caller, a little more $$.. hope this helps..
