just interested in finding out whose brass you like best for your 44 mag loads and why.  Up until now I have used Winchester for all my loads.  However, over the weekend I ordered some Starline brass from Midway. So far the Winchester brass has performed just fine but for some reason I wanted to try somebody else's brass.  Whose do you like?

I've used about all of them and can't really tell much difference.  KN

Bounty Hunter;

I think you'll like the Starline brand, it's all I use in all of my magnums.
But tell you what.... you can order Starline brass directly from the factory and save a few bucks. The phone number is 1-800-280-6660. They are really some good people to deal with.
Good Shooting.

De41mag is right.

You will like the Starline brass as good or most likely better than any of the others. I use it exlusively in all my pistol ammo. It's extremely uniform, and consistant from lot to lot. That makes a big difference when it comes to a uniform crimp, and keeping velocity variation to a minimum.

This really shows up in my 1894C 357 magnum when I'm shooting at extreme ranges(150-200+ yards).

He's also right about buying directly from Starline. They are cheaper than the rest, and great to deal with.

Here's another vote for Starline. It's the only brass I'll buy now. I've used most every brand over the years, but Starline wins hands down for pistol/revolver brass. They are usually the cheapest also(in volume).

Thank all of you for your response!  Sounds like I will like the Starline.  Really appreciate you telling me about ordering direct from Starline.  Best of all it sounds like the people at Starline are good folk.  Hope I can help you out someday.
