Encore Barrel in 223 WSSM
« on: October 14, 2004, 05:41:15 AM »
I am hankering for a varmit round for my Encore and also have an itch for a 223 WSSM.

Is anyone making 26" Stainless encore barrels in 223 WSSM?  I have looked around, found the EAB article about bolt thrust and the Short mags in the Encore.

Will the WSSM's not work, or is it a matter of time before someone markets them?

Thanks CK.

It is sad to see Virgin Valley exiting the industry, I had not contacted them previously about one.  I am somewhat familiar with Bullberry but not the other one you mention-I'll drop them a line though.

Not sure about the WSSM but Fred has said that he will not make the WSM.  Here's the link....

You guys might want to just check with Virgin Valley.  I think they just changed names and quit doing a few things.  That was the impression I got when from a post somewhere on some web site.  Just a thought.
