Got my glock 20,i intend on shooting a whitetail this fall, out to 40 yrd.Just use my bowhunting skills and get within pistol range. What factory loads do you recommend. Also, any input on fiber optic sights which would be more visable in low light ?

Any of the big fours 230gr should work fine on a whitetail. The Fed Hydroshock, Win. WST, Speer Golddot, or the Rem. Golden Saber. I'd sort of lean toward the G. Saber, but in the end would pick the one that shot the best.

Shooter,
Take a look at the "Double Tap" web site. They have some 10mm loads in the 200gr range that would be ideal for whitetail. I have the "Hi-Vis" fiber optic front sight on my Target Kimber. I like it a lot! It comes with an assortment of light pipes. Different sizes and colors. Works good if there is any light at all. That front sight really stands out!!

shooter,
I use a red dot on my G20. I love it. IMO, a red dot really fits well with the hunting range/conditions that a G20 gets used for. I've got an extra mount that I had on a previous G20. I sent you a pm on it.
Take care,
