I was at a Gander Mountain in the area today & they have a used one, 20" bbl, .45 Colt caliber, for $300.00. They're supposedly connected with Howa. Can anyone tell me what level of quality these guns are, say, on a scale of 1 to 10? How strong?....Is the receiver a forging, enabling it to handle stout reloads, or a casting, as on my Armi San Marco? I had a guy at the range tell me Armi was known for using soft metal. Is this one a good bet for something stronger? And how does yours shoot? Thanx for the feedback. jd45.

TM7, you referred to Rossi.......doesn't Howa manufacture these guns? Otherwise, thanx for the input....I'm gonna put a Williams Foolproof receiver sight in it & maybe a firesight front, as well. jd45.
