I just looked at the Browning site and found a bps that I like it is the mossy oak break up. It takes the 3.5. anyone have one or any comments on one? I would like to shoot 2 3/4 shells also but I don't know if it will.

it will. great gun, infact i don't think you can do any better than the BPS. my only suggestion would be to make sure you're going to shoot the 3 1/2" shells because if you're not the 3" gun has a much shorter pumping action and will have less short-shucks... i don't have a 3 1/2" 12ga but i have 3" and a 3 1/2" 10 ga. i short-shuck the 10 ga about 200% more often than the 12.

By short shuck do you mean the shell doesnt fully eject or are you talking about human error?

both actually... i "short-shuck" is when you eject an empty but do not pull the slide far enough back to drop a new shell out of the magazine and onto the bolt. generally speaking it's a problem when shooting fast, and it's a problem with guns that have longer pulls. it's entirely human error, but it's influenced by the type of gun you shoot. that's one of the reasons i only shoot my 3 1/2" 870 for turkeys. for everything else i find myself faster and more reliable with my 3" bps or my 2 3/4" model 12.
