loads for 22-250

I am wondering if any one knows of any good loads with IMR 3031 for a 55 grain bullet. It is going to be shot out of a encore 26' barrel.

I am shooting 30 gr. of IMR3031 under a 55 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip and Winchester large rifle primers. I am shooting them out of my 26 inch SS 22-250 Encore and have sub MOA groups. I am very pleased with the accuracy.  :D

Try the Hornady  40 grain V-max or Sierra 50 Grain Spitzer #1330 (not the #1340 50 gr. Blitz) with 33.5 grains of AA 2230.  I'm getting 1/2" from a 26"  barrel Rem 700 Singleshot.

How much does using different primers affect the accuracy of the load?

It is not a lot unless you use standard primers or magnum primers. But it is more personal preference. I have shot the same loads with different primers and there was no point of impact change.
