French air rifle Manuarm ??????
« on: October 11, 2004, 06:46:21 PM »
Anybody know anything about  Manuarm air rifles from France?  I have never heard of them but saw one on a gun auction.  Found an English web site for them but it doesn't say much at all.

Dand,

This web site(http://www.manuarm.fr/uk/loisir.html) is all I could find on them.  It shows the different models of rifles and pistols but other than that has very little to say about them.  Lawdog

Yeah that's all I could find.  I suppose if this was a hot manufacturer someone would be importing their products.  Or maybe, given their minimal web site, they need to lear a bit about marketing.

I had wondered if the air gun might be a decent candidate for my 6 yr old to learn on, but it looks a bit big for him.

If you go to their web-site and click on the little "around the world" globe icon, on the left, you'll see they have a distributor in Ontario, Canada.  Maybe you can get some more (in English) info from them.
But you're right; you sure don't hear of them in the US.  Maybe they "brand-name" things actually made by others (like Beeman does).

good point on the branding - hadn't occurred to me.

I'll check out the little globe too.
