Central IN Gunsmith?

I just spoke to a locally recommended gunsmith about counterboring the muzzle of my M48 (lots of cleaning rod wear).  I am just trying to get a little more accuracy out of an otherwise pretty good barrel.  He acted like I was from Mars and couldn't understand why I would want to do such a thing!

Does anyone know of a gunsmith in Central Indiana that knows something about surplus rifles?!  I guess I could ship it if I had to but the shipping would cost about as much as the work.
