I looking at a used 22 mag. sporster and was wondering how much they usually go for? It has a synthetic stock and scope rail not sure on the barrel contour.

A new one when they're in stock here sells for $130. Just bought a used sporter contour barrel for $55 shipped.

The 17hmr Sportster is regular stock at Walmart as far as I know, they don't show it in the special order catalog, but I know some RFCers that have bought them there. They don't show the Marlin 917V in the special order catalog, either but I've seen em in the rack at both of the Vancouver Walmarts locally. So, I'd talk to your local Walmart sporting goods clerk or manager about it.

Varminter, I thought you were inquiring about the price of the .22 Mag Sportster. The price myself and a a few buddies have paid in both Mass and Maine at different Wal-marts for the .22 Mag Sportsters is $103 and change plus tax. I think the .17 HMR's were a bit more....<><....
