sighting in/ barrel cleaning/load development

Hey, whats everyone here do. I have several loads to test. 5 rounds of each load. Do I just shoot em all, keep a differant target and record of each. Should I clean the barrel and shoot a couple of fouling shots before each load? What do you guys do? I have several differant loads to test for both accuracy and velocity. Any input and advice appreciated.

Take a plain paper target and staple/tape it to your backer .Put 4or5 orange target dots on it.Pick a size you can see at the range you will be shooting.1-2" for scopes,bigger for iron sights.Shoot 1 shot from each load at each dot. Let the gun cool and shoot a 2nd shot from each load. Each dot should be a different load.Continue shooting till you have finished getting 3 or 5 shot groups at each dot. I mark the dots with the load I will use.
  I clean between groups of shots,and carry a few extra bullets to use for  foulers. This only works when the groups are small enough to fit on the paper.
