Are the ULTRA rifles worth it?

I finally have some money. I plan on buying a NEF rifle in 30-06.

Is the ULTRA upgrade worth it? What am I getting exactly?

better stock...somewhat better metal finish...


Great rifle ...great price...normally a great little shooter...

I agree with Mac
The stocks are better wood, laminated,and checkered.  The metal finish on my receiver and barrel is better.  Plus a bit of extra velocity available in the 223 and 243 with 24" barrels.  Can be ordered later, but why not get all the goodies all at once?
