So what's the deal?
« on: October 25, 2004, 08:17:49 AM »
I want to buy a barrel from someone, but I have concerns that the barrel will not fit properly. Yet I see that folks buy, sell and trade barrels all the time on this forum. If I do this, what are my chances that the barrel won't work properly?
Ohhhh, I hate when that happens

I went to my brother in laws, he has one in .223. It mounted perfectly. I guess I answered my own question. Anyone has any other experiences with this issue, please add to this.

I have bought, sold, swapped and switched barrels and never an insurmountable problem. You soon learn the tricks to fitting and if it looks as if it won't safely fit any reciever you have, there is always someone you can sell or swap it with who's reciever might be a better fit.. Besides that, it's fun!!!....<><....
