Don't feel bad I hunted 5 day 3 of them in the rain did not see a flag in the woods posted about two hours each morning and walk for about an 1 hour seen nothing ,except for a bear and one small buck.
I would say those anterless tags are taking there toll on the heards, seeing less deer every year
I been hunting in monroe county n.e. pa
I have talk with a few m/l hunters and they all said the same no deer

You guys just must be hunting the wrong area. My friend Barry took this nice doe on Friday.

He hunts on his 200 acre farm and has been seeing 10-14 or more deer per outing most times. I think every trip he's made he's had deer inside of 20 yards of him but has been waiting for a nice mature doe which finally gave him a 56 yard shot on Friday.

From his sightings as reported to me I'm guessing the doe to buck ratio on his farm is in the 2:1 or at worst 3:1 range. Lots of young bucks running around there but he's still not seeing a trophy buck behind every tree as Alt promised.

Are you guys hunting public or private land?

Not wrong land...just bad luck.  :-D  I took a shot at one, pan didn't go off. Perfect shot; perfect distance. I take that back, pan went off...didn't ignite main charge. Oh well...just have to wait till December     :D
