I'll be in 4-E with my Encore 50 Cal. I have it three years and it's killed three deer, but all of these by my son. This year I finally can leave the flintlock at home since my son has a new Omega. Good luck.

Will be in the Allegheny National Forest in the morning putting on drives with the other smoke polers at work, and watching the fields edges in 2F at dusk with my TC Firestorm

Well, my 13 year old granddaughter shot her first deer with her dad's Omega on opening morning, making everyone happy! My son shot another on Saturday evening with the same Omega and I got one on Monday morning with my Encore 209 x 50. Incidentally, my granddaughter used a three pellet load of Triple Seven as did my son while I only used two Pyrodex pellets in my Encore. My "friends" are telling me that I use a girls load!

We're off to a great start and will be out for turkeys on Saturday. My granddaughter will be using a Contender carbine in 22 Hornet and my son & I will be sharing the Encore, this time with a 223 barrel & 10X Leupold. Since my son will be leaving work at 8 on Sat. morning, I will be with my granddaughter until 9:00 AM or so. I hope she doesn't get one until her dad shows up. We've seen many turkeys feeding in soybean fields and hope they continue to feed there for a few weeks.
