Need photo of RP12
« on: October 30, 2004, 02:42:06 AM »
I have some old components and all of them are labeled except for a small lot of wads that I think are RP12's. It has been some time since I have done any shotshell reloading and I decided to load some squirrel loads. I went onto Yahoo to see if anyone had photos of wads but to no avail. I just need to be sure if what I have is an RP12 or an SP12. Anyone have a link to some actual pictures of Remington wads for comparrison?

Thanks,  Edwin

I don't have a link, but I got pictures. I'll try to describe the difference. The spaces between the legs on the RP12 are almost square, the spaces on the SP12 are considerably higher than they are wide. Also, the SP12 slit comes down 1/2 way on the cup, the RP12 has an almost full-length slit.
